MAN-HATERS OFFENDED

Recent TV adverts from Jim Beam and Carlton are funny but not nearly as funny as the reaction from man-haters:
Oh that’s horrible, I just threw up a little in my mouth. No matter how gently I point out sexism to those around me they still don’t get it.
Here's the plan ladies, next time one of those horrible adverts comes on the box change channels instead of vomiting. (To see the adverts click the link above and scroll up.)

Any comments, ladies?

Well I found it offensive at the time, as I do any advertising with sexual content these days.

I find the longer I look into misandry, the less of a sense of humour I have.

the Jim Beam ads are rather offensive to me, but since I don't drink Jim that is irrelevant to anybody. I don't watch a whole lot of tv anyway, and I keep a tight rein on what my daughter watches.

Oh, and by "at the time," I mean when it came out.

I still think it's offensive, as I do all those ads depicting men as being graceless buffoons.

I particularly loathe the ad with the bloke putting car parts in the dishwasher, when the missus scones him with the spanner.

Needless to say, I don't use morning fresh in my dishwasher any more.

I am, of course, a graceful buffon.

Cheers
