IN EVERY MOSQUE

Muslim cleric Sheikh Mohammed Omran was interviewed on Lateline last night. I didn't see the show and don't know how he came across on air but in the transcript he comes across as, well... shifty. Anyway, as Tony Jones pressed Omran on any connection he might have to the arrested plotters, Omran said something he'll probably regret:

TONY JONES: Does it worry you at all that people with extreme views tend to gravitate to you or one of your associated mosques in Sydney and Melbourne?

SHEIKH MOHAMMED OMRAN: This is not true, anyhow. They were everywhere and in every mosque you'll find people like that.

So, we should expect lots more arrests.
