FRANCE WINS C COUNTRY POLL

The University of Maryland/Zogby International recently conducted a poll in Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. According to al Jazeera, the poll focussed on the US role in the region but also posed an unusual question:

The poll also asked, in a world with one superpower, which c country respondents would like to fulfil that role.

Twenty-one per cent said France...

Yeah well, France does have more than its fair share of c's.
