BUY DANISH

One disadvantage of living in the bush is the limited range of products available at locals shops – Havarti cheese was the only Danish product I could find. Fortunately, I had to drive to Perth this morning and took a few minutes to have a look around in "gourmet" shops. While it's not like the few things I bought is going to do anything to counter the Islamic boycott of Danish products, if we all sought out and bought a few Danish imports it certainly couldn't hurt.

I bought: Anthon Berg dark chocolate covered brandied apricots; three kinds of cheese, including a triple cream blue that should be interesting; butter; and an organic spreadable butter blend. The satisfaction I got from buying the stuff made it well worth the premium price paid.

Any suggestions of Danish products worth buying would be much appreciated.

Update: The Carlsberg beer sold in Australia is brewed by Independent Breweries (NZ) Ltd, Auckland, so if you buy it you're also supporting those crazy cartoon publishing Kiwis.
