Germany's luxury car-makers are unhappy with proposed limits on carbon dioxide emissions per kilometer:
"It is an attack on BMW, Mercedes, Audi and [Porsche] ... This is a business war in Europe. We will fight," Mr Wiedeking told shareholders.The enemy: France's Renault and Peugeot and Italy's Fiat. To complete this scene Russia needs to join in and then switch sides.

I dunno about the Ruskies. Which side would they join? The average 2 door Lada has an engine with the power of a bumblebee and belches more fumes than a longnose Kenworth pulling a road train through Cunningham's gap.
