Mental state questioned

A Ringwood, Victoria man, Daniel Schwartz, is accused of "defrauding Black Saturday bushfires relief funds of $25,485 in cash and vehicles":

"He is charged with eight counts of obtaining property by deception between February and June this year, but has not yet entered a plea.

"Mr Schwartz’s barrister, Jeremy Sear, requested an adjournment to allow time for a psychological assessment to determine his client’s state of mind immediately after the bushfires."

Sometimes people make choices they later regret ... deeply.

This is going to interesting to watch. My bet is the guy ends up getting himself of death row even though there's no death penalty.
