Iran joins Commission on the Status of Women

Just in time for the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day Iran has joined the United Nations' Commission on the Status of Women. The Iranian delegation has shown that they take such matters seriously, suggesting that 8 March be redesignated Recalcitrant Women Stoning Day.
