Shocking but true: Leftist "news" site ignores Lefty tripe
Crikey's Pure Poison claims to exist to "expose the intellectual dishonesty, the flimsy arguments and the distorted data wherever they appear in the mainstream media" yet over the past two days could find nothing to "expose" other than an ambiguous tweet from conservative News Ltd columnist Miranda Devine. Prior to that conservative News Ltd columnist Andrew Bolt was the subject of a number of posts.
Yet yesterday three really dumb-assed Fairfax articles were totally ignored by the PP boyz. How is it then that Pure Poison's ludicrously pro-Left attacks on conservative journalists are included by Google News?

David Penberthy wrote an article in The Punch that also mentioned the tweet.
Journalist Miranda Devine wrote on Twitter on Wednesday that as a Premier, Bligh made a pretty good newsreader, and immediately received a predictable torrent of foul abuse from her knee-jerk critics.
If it was Devine’s intention to rubbish Bligh, I’d argue that she inadvertently paid her a compliment.
Now here is the kicker. The PP Boys loathe Pemberthy and The Punch purely because loathing conservatives and News Ltd is their raison d’être. Plus, his above statement is giving the PPBoys a nice back-hander in the reference to "knee-jerk critics" of Devine.
However, the article is quite complimentary to Anna Bligh and Penberthy is at some level agreeing with the PPBoys in that Devine’s comment is misplaced.
I can almost hear their synapses fizzle and crackle as they try to process so many conflicting prejudices.
