Sudan has told the UN to stay out of its internal affairs:

Sudan on Friday slammed a U.N. resolution sending Darfur war crime suspects to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and signaled it would not cooperate in handing its citizens over to face justice abroad.

Saddam's thumbing his nose at the UN all those years has been a learning experience for some. What's the UN going to do now, set up a committee to study the problem and report back in a year or two? Useless.
