BRITISH DOCTORS: KNIVES DANGEROUS
Especially dangerous are the long, sharp pointy variety:
Accident and emergency doctors today call for the banning of long, sharp kitchen knives, arguing they account for at least half of all stabbings.Note to self: wait until the little woman leaves the kitchen before starting that argument.
They say such knives slice through clothing and penetrate vital organs.
"Many assaults are impulsive, often triggered by alcohol or misuse of other drugs, and the long, pointed kitchen knife is an easily accessible, potentially lethal weapon, particularly in the domestic setting," say the doctors from the West Middlesex university hospital, London, in the British Medical Journal.

Also remember to hide scissors, hammers, screwdrivers, bottles and fireplace pokers before starting any arguments with your wife.
I'm yet to see a kitchen snickersnee that can't be trumped by any number of power tools, particularly ones manufactured by the good people at McCulloch (and really stylish if accessorised with a snazzy human skin face mask).
More powertools sounds good. And chainsaws - purely for defensive reasons.
Next will be screwdrivers, then knitting needles and they'll keep working their way down the list until they get to pillows, which are a suffocation tool in the wrong hands.
