Don't mess with PBS
A New York Times editorial argues that there is no need to deliberalize the Corporation for Public Broadcasting because it's not nearly as heavily liberal as it once was. PBS is really a reliable news source:
More than half of PBS's viewers say they find its news more "trustworthy" than the commercial stations'. Public television and radio programs like "Frontline," "The NewsHour With Jim Lehrer" and "All Things Considered" have even higher "favorable" ratings.Duh, of course PBS viewers rate it as trustworthy, why else would they watch? Now, survey the viewers' political leanings. Lefties watch PBS because it gives them news for lefties.
