Japan plutonium plant nears completion

This will make some people very nervous:
A group of 27 scientists, nuclear experts and former officials urged Japan Thursday to rethink a nearly completed plutonium reprocessing plant that could produce fuel for 1,000 warheads each year.

Although Japan has never actively pursued atomic weapons, some nuclear experts say it is fully capable of developing them if it ever saw the need -- especially if Communist North Korea threatened to use its nuclear capability in the region.
If North Korea can have nuclear weapons, everyone should have them.
