POISONED FRUIT

The kiddies at Southside Middle School are a rowdy bunch, with it alleged by local residents that:

• Parents are being cursed and threatened.

• Young children are being exposed to foul language.

• Students are routinely urinating in public.

• A male student is repeatedly dropping his pants.

• Couples are being sexually explicit.

• Sidewalks and crosswalks are being blocked.

• Parents and children are being pelted with iceballs.

The police response, though truthful, is less than encouraging:

Sgt. Kevin Kincaid, supervisor of the community policing unit, said police will try to identify children creating the trouble and work with their parents. Unfortunately, he said, many of the parents may not care.

The caring stops when the sex is finished.
