SELF-CENSORED CARTOON CENSORED

The cartoon above, titled "Muhammedan self-censorship", appeared on the website of the Swedish Democrats' SD-Kuriren newspaper. The operative word here is appeared; the site was shut down under pressure from the Swedish government. Hell, why not just run up a white flag?

Update: The Marlette cartoon below was originally, inadvertently and briefly, published in 2002 on the website of the Tallahassee Democrat after being rejected for inclusion in the paper's print edition. Marlette has refused to apologise. The cartoon was withdrawn but not because of pressure from the government. (Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh also drove a Ryder rental truck.)
