THE PRICE OF FUEL

According to Gas Buddy, the average fuel price in the US is US$2.92 a gallon. To put things in perspective for American readers, today I paid roughly US$3.72 for a gallon of standard unleaded petrol (gasoline) – the pump price is AU$1.30 per litre. I blame Bush.

I live in California so therefore I get to blame Scwarzenegger. This time I don't think he'll be back.

You'd think that with the highest profits on teh history of the world, it might be time to raise taxes for oil companies? Nooooooooooo. Bush wants to reduce them further. No wonder he was such a business failure.

Well, a large part of the blame must fall on green politicians as Milloy rightly states here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,193487,00.html
