Anti-whaling activists say they were seriously concerned for their safety during recent operations off Antarctica:
Members of the conservation group Sea Shepherd have raised concerns about safety on board the anti-whaling ship the Steve Irwin.

Several volunteer crew members believe lives were put at risk when a zodiac boat capsized and threw four people into Antarctic waters in January.
