Attention-seeking names
Parents once named children so they'd fit in rather than stand out. Many parents today name their children with the weirdest, attention-seeking names: Kyd, Suri, Trig, Satchel, Apple, Tameesha and Jaxon, for example. Thus the extraordinary is now common. Parents seeking truly distinctive names should consider John and Mary.

With the exception of common ethnic names, if you name your child so that every single time, for the rest of there life, they need to spell it to anyone recording it, then you're an arsehole.
I wonder how many parents will be shocked that their child becomes a stripper, when they gave them a stripper name at birth.
