Australia's copy and paste king

Sydney Morning Herald journalist Lenore Taylor cops heavy criticism from independent "journalist" Antony Loewenstein – pardon me while I take a moment to control the vomit rising in my throat – who accuses Taylor of regurgitating the official Israeli position with what amounts to "stenography". Oddly enough, Loewenstein's home page currently displays posts totaling 5,306 words, including post titles, of which 4,658 words were written by others. In other words, 88% of Loewenstein's current blogging output is copied and pasted, a task much easier than stenography. The guy is a joke.

Lenore Taylor should simply smile sweetly and remind Antony that unlike him, she hasn't been fired from Fairfax.

"The guy is a joke."

Meanwhile, Loewenstein has been published in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, The Guardian, Juan Cole, Mondoweiss, Washington Post, New Statesman, Huffington Post, The Daily Star, The National, Dawn, Haaretz, The Nation, BBC World Service, Adbusters, Al Masry Alyoum, Sydney’s Sun-Herald, New Zealand Herald, Sydney Ideas Quarterly, The Australian Financial Review, Melbourne’s Age, Brisbane’s Courier Mail, Canberra Times, Online Opinion, ABC Unleashed/The Drum, Amnesty International Australia, Green Left Weekly, Eureka Street, Kill Your Darlings, Adelaide’s Advertiser, The Bulletin, Znet, Overland, Sydney PEN, The Big Issue, Counterpunch, and many others.

And you can't even hold down a job writing plugs for motorcycle parts at Asian Correspondent.

Joke indeed.

Yeah, and General Motors was once the world's biggest seller of vehicles, on account of quality.

Nah. 'Anon' just copied and pasted the whole block from Antony's self-aggrandizing autobiography.

It includes claims that he "appears regularly around the world on radio (including the BBC), TV (including Al Jazeera English".

In that instance, he uploaded a video of himself to their Listening Post segment and has taken that to mean he "appeared" on the show.

It would seem therefore, that having had a few letters to the editor published, I can now claim to have been regularly published in the country's largest newspapers...

Pathetic isn't he? Particularly when you consider that he spent so much time bleating that he was "Silenced". Other incompetent authors and bloggers could only dream of such a silencing...

According to his autobio, apparently his error-riddled Israel book is now up to it's "Fully updated, third edition". Now with ten percent fewer basic errors!

Oh and this is the best bit: "He is currently working on a book about disaster capitalism and privatisation in Australia, the Asia-Pacific and beyond."

I bet it will just FLY off the shelves.
