Regular The Drum Unhinged contributor psychiatrist Ted Tietze today unleashes a 2,696 word piece titled What really lies behind refugee policy, the main point of which is that the governments of developed countries are demonising refugees so as to pander to economic elites while simultaneously distracting the lower classes by diverting their attention away from the social and economic problems they would otherwise be incensed by.
Now considering that he has written for Leftist-collective blog Larvatus Prodeo, links in his blogroll to Antony Loewenstein and is currently re-reading Karl Marx's Capital (probably for the umpteenth time), it's hardly surprising that Tietze is a deluded fringe-Leftist. It's also unsurprising that the ABC continues to publish his drivel.
