It’s comical to read today union leader Paul Howes – whose understanding of the Middle East has come from Zionist sponsored trips to Israel — condemn the Australian unions who support BDS as “divisive” when none of those unions are actually heard in the story.The same paragraph as it now appears:

Because they can't afford anyone else at such a low rate. He's a filler.
HAving never gone to Israel shouldn't be a disadvantage.
Loewenstein has styled himself as a 'commentator' for years, having never set foot in the country.
Much, if not most of his Israel 'best seller' had been drafted before he went there. No doubt he only went to ward off the most obvious criticism. Too bad there was so much other incompetence to criticise as well...

This idea that anyone who supports Israel's right to exist must be in the pay Of Big Jew™ is so unhinged and weird.
It's their first assumption whenever anyone comes out in support of Israel - it's their default setting: PAID ZIONIST SHILL!
I can understand someone like Ant making that mistake, but I can't think why no-one at Our ABC even thought to check.
