The Blogging Revolution - Zero reviews

A Time to Speak Out - Two reviews (but there are 19 authors and Ants isn't mentioned in any of the reviews including the editorial review, so we'll put Ants contribution down for zero)

My Israel Question - 8 reviews (3 good, 5 bad)

So hardly anybody reads Antony Loewenstein and most of those who do thinks he stinks.

Makes you wonder how he manages to earn a living selling his opinions on things.

Well they do have 23 used copies in stock. At least 23 of these must have sold, n'est ce pas?

Why dont you tackle a slightly more challenging target than the Ant? Like Robert Manne, perhaps?

Bill,

You miss the point. There are plenty of talentless writers out there. However despite a lengthy history of intellectual dishonesty (or flat out old fashioned dishonesty), incompetence, unprofessional behaviour and error after error, Antony is still considered good enough by would-be respectable organisations such as 'our ABC', Fairfax et al.

Loewenstein is no Robert Manne or John Pilger. If it weren't for that convenient 'Jewish' angle (and I use the term cautiously as he's a fraud there as well) he would be written off altogether. This way he has a novel angel on which to try and flog a few books (albeit via the bargain bin).

Shame on any organisation who couldn't be bothered looking up this guy's history. It's not a case of a difference of opinion.either The guy has made the most amazing errors of basic fact.

You can get Shakespeare, Steinbeck and others for one cent too, Lieutenant Dan. They must be a pile of shite too!

Still, your... erm, writings are available for even cheaper. Which says it all - Loewenstein is a numpty and you are even worse.

@Anonymous

Huh?

Pretty sure Dan and JF don't run around telling everyone they are a "bestselling author". Loewenstein does.

Anon @ 8:37 PM,

Project Gutenburg has thousands of books no longer bound by copyright that are available for free, including A Midsummer Night's Dream.

It's also worth nothing that A Midsummer Night's Dream was written around 1594. So while it is a surprising achievement that a play written 416 years ago is still available for sale, it's not surprising that it doesn't cost very much.

That's Shakespeare's excuse (not that he needs one, being dead for nearly 400 years). You are, however, right that Loewenstein's excuse is that his complete works are a pile of shite.

And now the "best-selling author" is trying to bundle himself in with Michael Moore! They're BOTH vile, but srlsy???
