New York's event of the year
2005 Left Forum
The whining will be deafening.
By the way, the 2005 Left Forum replaces the long running Socialist Scholars Conference, which was cancelled after seven of the group's 16 board members resigned, "in protest of the lack of democratic and participatory governance procedures." The left undemocratic? Shocking.

EEWWWWWWW! This "2005 Left Forum" sounds like somewhere that I don't want to be. It's 3 days long, and I counted 52 speakers, and "many more". Plus, what, a couple dozen panels?
Lord, how will they schedule so many speakers and panels in a mere 72 hours? Whine-a-thon, indeed!
And even if they don't whine for 72 hours, the oxygen levels in New York are going to drop significantly from all this collective breathing. The resulting carbon dioxide, being a greenhouse gas, may impact global warming. In either case, a lose-lose scenario.
Bet I'll be able to hear the whining from here; it's only 18,500 km.
Mayhaps they meant the "2005 Left Behind Forum"?
