WHO HE AIN'T

A BBC TV News commentator on Obama's arrival in Riyadh:
"One of his greatest assets is that he's not George Bush."
The guy's right; so far Obama is nothing special.

Update: Another less than flattering Bush reference, this time from Luke Buckmaster's review of Terminator Salvation:
Director McG, whose name and level of cinematic comprehension resembles that of a burger, applies his ham-n-cheese fist to the Terminator franchise and cooks up a hardcore action sci-fi: hardcore in the sense that this agonisingly loud movie generates more gunfire than a pro-George Bush parade in Israel and a running time with at least as many explosions as there are minutes.
Insanity seems to be the main requirement for a Crikey writing gig.

I'd say Obama's greatest asset in Riyadh is that he can drop the façade that he's not a Dhimmi

Click on the link and read the crikey author's explanation. He's trying to defend a weird fantasy by concocting an even weirder fantasy. I wonder how his left wing friends would like him admitting that Jerusalem is part of Israel or suggesting that Palestinians are all gun-crazed lunatics.
