GRODS GONE
In a Spin Starts Here moment Scott Bridges has shut down GrodsCorp and deleted -- some would say flushed -- its entire archive. In a eulogy of sorts Chuck A. Spear laments the passing of a left-wing institution, hinting that GrodsCorp succumbed to unspecified right-wing pressure -- Bridges says he shut down the site owing to travel commitments, in 2010. No mention of the purged archive, however. Regardless, I'm confident Jeremy and Keri can step up to fill the humour void.

Scott didnt want to get sued for defamation. That is why he shut things down.
But who would be so glassjawed as to sue for defamation? What exactly was defamatory about grods?
If you can't beat the competition fairly, find a reason to sue them and go hard.
If Bridges killed Grods to avoid a lawsuit he's a liar. That rounds things out nicely: truth is an adequate defense to defamation.
My response to the news Here
With Grods gone JF Beck will have to look for another reason to bring up phallic shaped objects and the publication dates of teen romance novels.
Hardly "Spin Starts Here" - Bridges is still here, he hasn't fled the internet threatening to sue people. Anyone heard from Jamie Duncan or Caroline Hamilton lately?
Bridges killed Grods because he wanted to bury his embarrassing past like Wally "Cream of Geese" Sear did by asking not to be cached by Google.
How is your cat going?
Does VCAT seek to hide his errors too?
keep on deleting and moderating you old cunt, I am patient....
What's that about Brendan Nelson, Darryl?
Yeah, angry young men, what did they ever achieve? Look at Jesus, young, angry, non-event, no lasting impact on history or humanity. If only he'd placid, relaxed and comfortable he might have really had an impact and changed the world.
Pull a long bow with Christ DM. Maybe you could cite Bin Laden also, which is just as irrelevant. Stupid is as stupid does.
Funny how all this leftie analytical power comes to a boil just AFTER grods goes down the shitter. If I was a cynic, I would suggest that lefties just ain't their best unless they're-a hatin'.
Closing Grods was clearly the only way they could be rid of Jeremy.
Yes, I believe that Scott Bridges is a lot like Jesus. No, Scott Bridges is clearly Jesus. There, I said it.
It would seem that Darryl doesn't believe in Scott Bridges.
