$220,000 custom Tata Nano

Following the lead of Aston Martin's reworking of a Toyota iQ to come up with a Cygnet, India's DC Design plans to do some value adding with the $2,000 Tata Nano by turning it into a $220,000 high-technology car for the rich. And that hefty price tag doesn't exactly buy high performance - the top speed is only 200 kilometers per hour. No doubt any Indian buyers will be making quite a statement: Hey look at me, I have so much money I can afford to buy a tiny, grossly overpriced, totally impractical car that's like a Ferrari only really ugly and incredibly slow!
