Crocodile bait

Australia's saltwater crocodiles, known to lurk in unexpected out of the way places, are arguably the planet's most fearsome predators. This then is especially foolhardy:

A stupid Victorian was caught swimming right in front of a crocodile trap at a Top End waterhole where a large saltie has been caught this year.

Tim Cotter photographed the southern fool in front of the trap at Koolpin Gorge, at Kakadu National Park.

The park was forced to close the pool after a 3.5m saltwater croc was removed from the trap just after the wet season, the Northern Territory News reports.

Had the idiot been eaten he would have been famous.
