The Gillard government: Insane, or merely incompetent

Tim Blair makes the case for government insanity. Blair is perhaps a bit hard on a government that, quite simply, isn't up to governing.

Unfortunately for the Gillard government, it would be better if they were insane; insanity negates the heavy burden of self-awareness.
