Woman saved, sues police

Prompted by a 911 call from a son worried that his uncooperative and possibly suicidal octogenarian mother had over-dosed on medication police were dispatched to the scene. The old woman pulled a knife on the officers and told them she "wanted to die" adding "If you try and get the knife I will stab you and kill you. I killed four Japs in World War II, and I would not bat an eye killing you.” Rather than grant her death wish by shooting her, the officers tased, disarmed and transported her to a "mental health centre".

The woman is now suing police for alleged "brutality". Yep, tasing the old broad was totally unnecessary when a few good whacks from an ASP baton would have pacified her quick smart.
