Daily Kos repeats pathetically inaccurate rumours

Joan Carter at the Daily Kos, a source linked by Google News, reports on the dreadful plight of alleged Wikileaks leaker PFC Bradley Manning. Rather than do some basic research Carter instead links to a wildly inaccurate Salon piece by Glenn Greenwald (dated 15 December). Had Carter bothered to expend a little effort she would have found an online report by Manning's lawyer, David Coombs, describing "A Typical Day for PFC Bradley Manning" at the Quantico brig (dated 18 December).

Then again, had Carter gotten the facts right her Lefty readers would be disappointed. So maybe she intentionally failed to report accurately. Carter's either incompetent or not to be trusted.
