Experienced reporter mistakes Onion satire for real news
Investigative reporter Antony Loewenstein links to an Onion "article" as if genuine. High speed copying and pasting does have its drawbacks.

His tweet linking to that post:
"Blog post: US moderation towards Palestinians not tolerated http://bit.ly/mTJ79B "
He wrote a blog post based on an Onion satire.
Non-ironically.
LOL
It beggers belief that as a 'journalist', he is not familiar with The Onion.
And even if he wasn't...
"U.S. policy toward Israel continues to be one of unconditional support and fawning sycophancy"
This doesn't stand out as being satire?
Words fail me.
No matter how many stupid things he does. No matter how many errors he makes. No matter how many times he gets exposed, he is still good enough for "Our ABC".
cut and paste anything from google that looks possibly anti israel - without actually reading it - and you get a gig on the ABC? Nice work.
I assume he didn't read it unless of course he has recently had a head injury
On another note do you realise Beck that inadvertently you are his chief source of factual editing? and probably spellchecking as his machine seems not to work?
Do you really want to help that wanker? As amusing as it is....

And do you think Loewenstein ever says thank you?
I have a feeling that those who give Loewenstein space, do so because they share his hatred of the Jewish state. However, privately I'm sure they also think he's an idiot. In his case, "freelance" is a nice way of saying he couldn't hold down a real job.
Loewenstein has been Composted!
No Jonathan.
Unlike 'Alene Composta', everyone knows that The Onion is satire. Even if you didn't, its name would leave little doubt.
Only a completely incompetent fuckwit could possibly quote it as a serious.... Oh, wait. Never mind.
Loewenstein is "on the FUCKING MOON!".
