In today's SMH, a letter urging more respect for Dear Leader.
I can't believe that there are calls to limit our free speech so as to avoid upsetting dictatorships which deny it to their own people.
Derisive and insulting cartoons and articles about the recently deceased leader of a volatile and unpredictable nuclear-armed country of 35 million people like North Korea are in poor taste, politically unwise and potentially dangerous.Why? It's not as though they were cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed. Now that would be dangerous.
