The White Stripes' Jack White provides the music for a controversial new Coke ad that will be shown only once on UK TV. The ad is controversial because White is accused of selling out to commerical interests. If you'd like to watch the ad it's available here. Don't expect anything special and you'll probably be pleasantly surprised.

Considering the state of the current Coke campaign in the US(plus they dropped Vanilla Coke) it might be advisable to find more sell-outs. As if pop music by its very nature doesn't attract musicians seeking fame and MONEY.

The ad sucks, as do The White Stripes - they must be the most overrated band in music history. I'll keep drinking 5 cans of Coke a day though.
