Militants have cut off the noses and ears of three Afghan drivers supplying United States military bases in Afghanistan.Now I know it would be inappropriate for the ABC to call nose and ear choppers "fucking arseholes" but "militants" just isn't strong enough. The perpetrators are terrorists, pure and simple.

Is there some Islamic reference to this act, because Saddam would cut off the ears of any defectors in his army? Did their prophet Muhammad do this? Its just sick!!!
I happened to catch a small part of a program called Teen News here in the US. They spoke about the Spanish and London subway bombs and called those who carried them out "militants", never what they really are, terrorists.
