Nothing sneaky or dishonest in the stealthy disappearance of a Random Brainwave post:
The post was reposted higher in the order of posts so I could beat Surname in the RB challenge to do more posts about Beck than Beck does about Sear & Loewenstein (or is that Lowenstein).Untrue.
The original post was posted online in the evening of 1 June and was silently pulled before midnight (AEST). A rewrite of the post eventually reappeared at 5:56 PM (AEST) on 2 June. Refusing to accept ownership of their indiscretions is a defining characteristic of the PP/Grods/RB crew.

Beck, I use google reader, too. It ain't a conspiracy. The two posts are identical. Except for the word "alleged" inserted in the latter one. And it kinda proves the point, dontcha think?
I'm not that obsessive, so I concede that you may have picked up a coupla changes that I missed. Why do you reckon those changes were made? Stop being coy.
Toaf, if you want to know why the post was rewritten you need to talk to the RB crew; I'm not going to speculate.

Yeah, noticed the disappearance. Had the Crikey blogs page open and saw the comments change from three to two when I refreshed. Will post on it first chance I get -- watching the footy is way more important.
