Columnist's resignation demanded

Greens Senator Bob Brown demands that Herald Sun columnist and blogger Andrew Bolt keep his opinions to himself:
Dear [ Herald Sun] Editor,

Andrew Bolt has blood on his hands. He stridently insisted on the invasion and killings in Iraq which led to millions fleeing. Some of those millions ended up in the ocean off Christmas Island on Wednesday.

Andrew Bolt’s call, while bodies were still in the ocean, for Julia Gillard’s resignation (but the Labor Party opposed the war in Iraq) lacked human decency. He should resign.
Senator Brown is apparently unaware that, like Bolt, 2010 Nobel peace prize-winner Liu Xiaobo staunchly supported the Iraq war. Like Brown a dimwitted Lefty, Antony Loewenstein misreads Brown's resignation demand, blogging "Greens demand Murdoch hack get a clue and fired".

The cluelessness of the Left is stupefyingly entertaining.

Haha! - I have to repost this from one of the commenters over at Blairs:

The conversation in Sen. Brown’s office:

Brown: So, how do we respond to that bloody Bolt’s call for Gillard to resign? Some intimate that we pious and blameless folk are also somehow at fault

Milne: We say, “No dams!’

Bandt: We say. “It’s too early to say things like that!”

Milne: We say, “No pulp mill!’

Hanson-Young: We say, “It’s time to have teddy bear.”

Milne: We say, “Move on!”

Brown: Thank you, Christine. Nameless advisers?

Nameless Adviser 1: We say, “So’s your momma!’

Brown: What?

Nameless Adviser 2: We say, “No, you resign!”

Omnes: Yes, yes!

Brown: So, we agree that I wittily turn the tables by saying that Bolt should resign?

Bandt: Because he’s naughty.

Nameless Adviser 1: And his momma!

Milne: No dams!

Hanson-Young: I t’ought I was a tapas bar, but I was really a cucumber.

Brown: Right. Thanks, people.
