MOTHER NATURE IS A BITCH

Those claiming to be in the know are sure that humans are causing global warming. But, the more we know about what's going on with the atmosphere, the clearer it is there's lots more to learn.

Not long ago it was revealed that plants release huge quantities of methane – over 20 times as potent a greenhouse gas as carbon dioxide – into the atmosphere:
The researchers roughly estimate the world's living vegetation emits between 62 and 236 million tonnes of methane per year, and plant litter adds one to seven million tonnes.

This would be equivalent to between 10 and 30 per cent of all annual global emissions of methane.
Scientists have now discovered that underwater volcanoes are significant methane releasers:
Our knowledge is in particular poor concerning the amount of methane from oceanic sources that reaches the atmosphere. Hitherto scientists assumed that microorganisms almost immediately destroy methane emitted from the sea floor. Under this assumption methane from the deep-sea would have no impact on the climate.

A German-French-Russian cooperation under the leadership of the Alfred Wegener Institute actually found considerable quantities of deep-sea methane going into the atmosphere.
The UN must act immediately! You know, to convince Mother Nature to reduce these deadly emissions.
