FEARLESS JOURNALIST STILL REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE DISSENT

Philip Ioannou is not a regular Antony Loewenstein reader (but then, very few people are), being acquainted with Loewenstein's work through one of his many Age articles. Ioannou objected to Loewenstein's reference to Hamas's terroristic violence as "justified militancy" and wrote to the Age to make his feelings known. Ioannou's letter was published and he assumed that was where the matter ended.

Only today did Ioannou become aware that his letter had drawn the Jewish stooge treatment at Loewenstein's blog:
I hope Mr. Ioannou is getting a hefty salary from the Israeli Foreign Ministry to pen such nonsense.
Hoping to clarify matters for the easily confused journalist and author, Ioannou lodged the following comment at Loewenstein's blog:
Dear Antony,

Thank you for publishing my letter. Unfortunately, you commit a couple of grave errors.

First, you assumed I am Jewish. This is wrong.

Second, following on from the first mistake, since you thought I was Jewish, simply because I disagreed with you in my letter, you assumed that I somehow worked for the Israeli Government. This too, is wrong.

Indeed, you think that anyone who supports Israel would have to be Jewish or somehow bankrolled by the Israeli state. Well, this is incorrect as well and a preposterous idea.

Furthermore, do you consider it a massacre when Palestinians murder other Palestinians, as shown here? I guess because Israel can't be blamed, you don't even bother to recognise it.

Regards,

Phil
That totally civil comment was lodged over eight hours ago and has yet to appear. It's truly pathetic that Loewenstein, who fancies himself the fearless journalist exposing the nasty truth about Jews and Israel, is unable to tolerate dissent.

Ioannou did some checking, discovered that I frequently blog Loewenstein and asked if I'd post his comment seeing as how Loewenstein denied him the right of reply. No problem, exposing Loewestein's leftarded idiocy is always a pleasure.
