US police to drive Australian patrol cars

It looks like police forces across the USA will soon swap locally made Ford patrol cars, which are going out of production, for Australian manufactured Holdens. It seems American manufacturers do not produce a large V8-powered sedan suited to police use. It's ironic that America pioneered the affordable V8 sedan but no longer produces one. Score one for Australia.
