UN peacekeepers continue to have fun at the expense of those least able to defend themselves:

An internal report compiled by the UN children's agency, UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund), has revealed claims that UN peacekeepers have been raping children as young as 12.

The UNICEF report was leaked to Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper. It says the abuse began two years ago, when the UN mission in southern Sudan moved in to help rebuild the region after a 23-year civil war.

We heard today that four peacekeepers have in fact been disciplined for sexual exploitation, but four peacekeepers out of a group of 9,000 is minimal. They've had the same problem in Congo, they've had the same problem in Liberia, in Kosovo, in Bosnia, in Sierra Leone and Haiti. It should not still be happening.

Unless these guys were "disciplined" with Vise-Grips they weren't properly disciplined.
