DANGER IS HIS MIDDLE NAME
The banner and first sentence from an article in the Jakarta Globe:
‘Anti-Zionist’ Jew: Author of ‘My Israel Question’ Heads for BaliBuoyant despite "regular" Zionist threats on his life, Loewenstein is one brave man. Or, maybe not:
For a person who gets hate mail and death threats on a regular basis, Antony Loewenstein remains surprisingly cheerful.
“I don’t want to suggest that I feel that my life is in jeopardy, I don’t want to exaggerate, but unfortunately, yes, I get a lot of attacks from Jewish people,” Loewenstein said during a phone interview ...So the threats, if they exist at all, aren't threatening and he's not under police protection with explosive sniffing dogs checking out his car before he starts it. Jeez, Australia's hateful, dissent-quashing Zionists are so disappointing.
Update: In perhaps the understatement of the century Loewenstein reckons Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is "a very silly Muslim boy".
