Jeremy Sear: purveyor of crazy, implausible and flat-out-wrong assertions
PP boy Jeremy Sear, Crikey's exposer of intellectual dishonesty and media bias, today complains about "a national media where 'balance' is defined as giving equal space to a crazy, implausible, flat-out-wrong assertion by someone on one side, as to a sensible, backed-up, provable assertion by someone on the other."
Yet Jeremy is very much inclined to make crazy, implausible and flat-out-wrong assertions on his personal blog.
Jeremy either totally lacks scruples or is not self-aware, or both.

What about that comment? I stuck with J.F. Beck because I was already blogging under my real name.
When Sear lied to me, telling me he wanted my name and address so that he could serve legal documents, I supplied my real name and address.
Wonder what the Victorian Bar would think about a barrister using a VicBar email account in what appears to be an overt effort to intimidate an ideological opponent?

Anyway, I always found it amusing that the PP fan club accuses the ABC of being right wing. Today, one of them accuses the NYT of being centre-right. WTF? He is singing to a clearly delusional crowd.
Bolt asks two straight questions about the carbon tax. What will it cost and what benefit will it provide to the environment? The answer is always ad hominems and denier accusations. These people are pathetic.

Another thing - when I read this part of Holme's Composta piece, it reminded me of someone else's blog:
"If you do that, you find that it's a blog that's of very recent origin, and that it contains a plethora of leftist rants punctuated by mooning about her pet cat. To my eye, the blog is quite clearly a parody. Funny, but not a genuine blog."
